As a solution this device is a low cost low cost, drudgery reducing, tractor driven device which digs out the groundnuts and separates them from the earth. Post harvest about 25 % of the groundnuts remain buried in the soil which needs to be recovered through manual labor. An Indian patent no. (1806/ DEL/2004) has been filed for the Innovation and the project supported under MVIF. The innovation has been licensed to 'Ardu High Tech' in Vizay for its application as a sea beach cleaner. |
