The mini sanitary napkin making machine has four different units namely de-fibration, core forming sealing unit and UV chamber for de-fibration of wood pulp, core forming, sealing with poly propylene and sterilization respectively. It is a technology to prepare the low cost sanitary napkin with the same materials as conventional napkins by cutting down the cost in production. It requires 3 to 4 manpower to produce 3 pads per min. More than 70 units of the machine have been installed across the country through different SHG's.
