Interns
NIF BD section invites Interns to helpĀ in Market Research, Investment Oppertunity DocumentsĀ and Business Development to spawn grassroots innovations.Interested candidates areĀ requested to writeĀ to bd@nifindia.org clearing stating intern or Volunteers (as the case may be) in the subject line of the email.
Norms for absorbing students as interns/Volunteers at NIF
- The student should tell whether this is his/her academic requirement.
- If yes, then the respective instituteās recommendation letter should be sought and their policy guidelines should be observed by NIF.
- Placement head should send official mail from the institute written onĀ theirĀ official letterhead.
- Student may carry the hard copy of letter and submit it with NIF on reaching here/place of work.
- In other cases the student is a volunteer.
- Student volunteer is also required to submit a recommendation mail/letter from a professor of that institute on theirĀ official letterhead.
Stipend
Graduate interns shall be paid Rs. 3000/- p.m. as stipend. To and fro IInd class sleeper travel fare from home town or institute to the place of work will be reimbursed on submission of the train ticket, on prior appraval basis. No boarding, lodging facility shall be provided at the place of work. However, interns would be entitled for work expenditure if sent for outstation project related work. No other remuneration is considerable.
In case of PG interns, stipend is Rs. 5000/- with all other conditions beingĀ same as above.
We may consider stipend above the stated limit, depending on the qualification and experience of the interns.
