Networking with Strategic Partners

NIF interacts with, and has developed networks, in collaboration with its strategic partners involved in the incubation process. The objective of doing so is to scout for potential entrepreneurs, market opportunities, reduce gestation period and transaction cost involved in the product development cycle. These regular interactions and technology showcasing help identify common trends in technology application in the industry, among other thing. Industry association, cluster association, relevant government agencies along with technical and research institutes such as Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), Indian Institute of Technology (IITs) and renowned Agriculture Universities provides their valuable inputs in concept validation and value addition.

The students’ community from various technological, management, rural development, agriculture and pharmacy institutes are organized under the banner of Students’ Chapter for Augmenting Innovation (SCAI). Local SCAI chapters are set up at individual institutes wherein students work on various innovations for concept validation, value addition, market research and scouting entrepreneur. Further, they develop business and enterprise plan while participating in DISHA – our national business plan competition and SAAKAR.
