NIF's workshop at Line of Control

NIF's workshop's fine points at Tithwal, Karnah, (Actual Line of Control). By S.F Ahmad
Foreword:
Tithwal is an undersized rural community with a populace of around ten thousand, right at the definite line of control, which otherwise operate as a viaduct between the two countries India and Pakistan and remains cut off from the rest of the world for at least six months as the only surface communication to this division gets barren because of weighty snowfall at the Sadnah top.

Most of the people live a roving life and prefers to settle out of this petite but beautiful vale because of myriad reasons. The inhabitants of this locale are unquestionably loaded with time honored knowledge and with mind blowing herbal practices.
Rundown of the workshop:
The workshop was of three days period with a blend of different activities ranging from wakefulness program on NIF, Honeybee network, SRISTI and GIAN to prize distribution observance to fruitful late night deliberations with the elderly residents of this small hamlet.
First Day:
The first day was undeniably a hard-hitting day for me, because to organize an awareness programme on NIF and its acquaintances was further than my mind's eye as to convey the accurate memo of NIF to the grass root innovators and to the traditional knowledge holders is in reality a sturdy job. But thank GOD the addressees of more than two hundred boys and girls with their teachers got very much impressed with the mission of NIF and promised me of giving out every morsel of new knowledge with NIF. This programme started with my salutation note, followed by my speech which revolves round the beginning of NIF, the attainments of NIF and Honeybee network.

The other speakers who transport their speeches at this chance included the Principal of Govt Higher Secondary School Tithwal and other two teachers and the students. After this we organized a question - answer session on NIF on the same day.
Second Day:
The second day was a superb session for all of us, for the students, the teachers and the audience for the reason it was a complete exhibition of all the literature of NIF, press cuttings and testimonial about the sixth twelve-monthly competition going to be held this year. After this exhibition was over, smile of contentment was displaying from all the faces that were present in this day long exhibition.
Third day:
On day third we held an idea contest among the students and the best three students where awarded for giving three best mind blowing ideas. After this we organized a camp of elderly people and come across their ideas.
