| The 5 th National Biennial Award Function of NIF will be held on 18 th November, 2009 at Indian Agriculture Research Institute (IARI), Pusa, East Patel Nagar, New Delhi 110018. Honorable President will give away the awards to the winners of the competition from 11.30 am to 12.30 pm. |
1. Request for proposals (RFP) for short films |
NIF needs 40 short films on the technologies and innovations to be awarded by President of India. Each film should have two versions of duration – a) 3 minute b) 30 seconds. These films will be previewed during the award ceremony. |
Quotations are invited from Prominent and Professional Filmmakers who will make two versions of short films (3 min and 30 sec) combining innovation coverage and biography of innovator to be completed by October 30,2009. Last date of submitting quotations in a sealed envelope is October 1, 2009 by 5:00pm. |
As these awardees are distributed in different parts of the country, the filmmaker has to make their own arrangements of lodging and boarding while traveling to their places. | 2. Quotations for Exhibition Design |
NIF is organizing a two day exhibition on awarded and promising grassroots technologies at the grounds of Indian Agriculture Research Institute (IARI), Pusa, East Patel Nagar, New Delhi 110018. It will be held from 18th to 19th November, 2009. |
Quotations are invited from Professional designers and experts who will design the exhibition at the venue with low cost eco-friendly material and to create an ambience of creativity and sustainability. |
The designers have to make their own arrangements of travel, lodging and boarding to visit the site and/or while starting work on the site in Delhi . | 3.Invitation for quotations for IT related tasks : |
| NIF invites quotations from IT companies/individuals to work on Drupal Content Management Framework, community and blog for websites of the Foundation and its network partners. The company should have expertise in Drupal Core (core modules, contributed modules, core themes) and projects related to image and video processing and database driven modules. Last date: October 20, 2009 by 5:00pm. |

| 4.Quotation for data entry and scanning work |
| NIF requests for quotations from professional IT companies/individuals/groups who are involved in data entry, database entry and scanning related tasks. NIF has a huge database of innovations and traditional knowledge. The text and image are to be scanned from physical files and entered into a database in given format. Proposals should also contain the provision of monitoring and checks to ensure consistency in the entry. There is a penalty clause for any inconsistency /error is found in the work. The company/entrepreneur should have expertise in handling large data entry and scanning related projects. |
