Dr. Moumita Sahoo is associated with NIF-India at the Bhubaneswar cell since 2018, and currently holds the position of Research Associate-III. She earned her doctorate degree in 2018 from NIT Rourkela, and has authored 12 research articles (7 as first author) in esteemed international journals. She has been actively engaged in scientific writing, while also delivering in her core responsibilities in ongoing projects i.e, monitoring INSPIRE-Manak program in Odisha along with project evaluation. She also streamlines the on-farm trials of farmer-developed plant varieties in Odisha under the aegis of VARD Agriculture. She is also engaged in translating scientific documents for dissemination in addition to conducting sensitization workshops. She also shoulders the added responsibility as an active member of the publication committee within the institute.
