National Innovation Foundation – India is an autonomous institution of Department of Science and Technology, GoI, based on the Honey Bee Network Philosophy, which provides institutional support to grassroots innovators and traditional knowledge holders from the unorganized sector of the society.
 

National Innovation Foundation – India (NIF) signed an agreement with Kaviraa Solutions for non-exclusive manufacturing and marketing rights of ‘Walker with adjustable legs’, an innovation by Shalini Kumari, a student innovator from Patna, Bihar. Shalini has been a national award winner of NIF in its IGNITE 2011 student competition where she got an award at the hands of former President of India, Bharat Ratna, Dr APJ Abdul Kalam.  Read More
