Ms. Jyotirmayee Dey is serving as a Junior Associate in the Impact Assessment & Public Policy Department at NIF-India. She is a biotechnology researcher with expertise in scientific communication. She holds a Ph.D. in Biotechnology from KIIT University, with her doctoral research focused on the virulence mechanisms of Klebsiella pneumoniae using systems biology approaches. She has over 20 peer-reviewed international publications and serves as a Peer reviewer for reputed journals.
Previously, she worked as a Program Associate at Bhubaneswar City Knowledge Innovation Cluster Foundation, an initiative of the O/o Principal Scientific Advisor to the Govt. of India. At NIF, she currently focuses on evaluating grassroots-level innovations, assessing their socio-economic impact, and contributing to evidence-based public policy to strengthen India’s innovation ecosystem. Through her work, she aims to promote indigenous knowledge systems and empower innovators across the country.
